Yesterday turned into quite an impromptu trip to Portsmouth for me and my parents. We had originally planned to go down there quickly to look at a few houses for me to rent, and just drive around the general local area, for when I go to University in literally a few weeks. We planned to leave early, and I thought I'd put sleep before making myself look like I had any kind of decency (I thought we were just staying in the car so I didn't shave/wash my hair and wore some pretty old clothes) - big mistake. It was my mum's birthday so we made a day out of it, and we went to The Harvester for lunch, Gunwharf Quays to do some shopping and look at the boats, and have a look at the seafront. It was amazing...
First off, this didn't look like your typical Harvester... look how posh it looks. I felt very out of place...
It's almost a crime to not take advantage of the free salad bar...
My main meal was also... lush. No other words.
I'm pretty sure it's the first time I've had a lemon in my lemonade from The Harvester...
At Gunwharf Quays, we immediately went to look at the boats, yachts and ferries - as a coastal enthusiast, this was right up my alley.
Size does matter.
Told you.
We finished the day with a couple of Krispy Kreme doughnuts, and parked up at the seafront, with the radio playing, and went home. What a day.
