Brownie In A Mug

21 August 2013
I'm not even joking - all of the chocolate feels.

1. 2 tablespoons of butter (yes there's only one on the plate, the other was already in the mug oops)
2. Salt (you'll only need a pinch or so)
3. Vanilla extract.
4. A mug that you don't care too much about (in case it all goes tits up)
5. 2 tablespoons of caster sugar
6. A novelty plate (not necessary, at all - I just wanted something to show all the ingredients on...)
7. 2 tablespoons of drinking chocolate powder
8. 3 tablespoons of flour

NOTE: I overestimated the size of the brownie so it may be wise to double up on the quantities, but you know it's all about experimenting so go a bit wild, you know you want to...

You then want to turn them... into this mixture above... here's how:

- Melt the butter in the microwave and add 2 drops of vanilla extract and a pinch of salt.
- Mix in the sugar
- Mix in the chocolate powder
- Mix in the flour
- If you find that the mixture isn't mixing well, use a couple of drops of water...

You may find it isn't the most aesthetically pleasing sight in the world, but stick the mug in the microwave for 60-90 seconds.

You'll get something that looks like this. It'll still be bubbling a little, but don't worry it'll cool down. I added a couple of After Eight chocolates for decoration and a minty taste. Nomm.

Once it cools down, you'll have something that looks this. Give it 15 mins or so to cool down a bit and then nom away my friends. Enjoy!
