Choconut Cookies

19 October 2013

I really fancied some cookies the other day, so I made these little monsters... I free-styled a little and they turned out really well! I tried making a simple shortbread recipe and adding cocoa powder and dessicated coconut...

You Will Need:
200g softened butter
250g flour
100g caster sugar
50g cocoa powder
50g dessicated coconut
1tbsp vanilla extract
water (maybe)

Let's Do This!

1. Preheat the oven to 160 degrees Celcius.

2. Cream the butter and sugar together. Add the vanilla essence and mix well.

3. Add the flour slowly and mix together.

4. Add the cocoa powder and coconut and mix well.

5. Grease a baking tray with butter or something of the same effect.

6. Take parts of the mixture and roll it into a ball. Place onto the baking tray and then flatten to your desire...

7. Shove them in the oven for 8-10 minutes, depending on how soft you want them.

After you've completed these 7 complex steps, leave them to cool for 30 minutes, then nom away my friend...
