NOW 86 Tracklist Prediction

09 October 2013

With a month to go until the 86th edition of the nation's favourite safety-present, 'Now Album,' and my interest in the charts, tracklistings and general behind the scenes shizz of music at the moment, I thought I'd try and predict the tracklist, and in turn show off just how cool I am... plus I didn't have anything to do yesterday, and this seemed appealing. I've seen a number of people do it over the years, and do it very successfully so I thought I'd give it a go...

Edit (20/10): I've made a couple of changes. Silly old me seemed to forget that Icona Pop's 'I Love It' was on Now 85, so I've taken it out and added Lorde's 'Royals,' a song which I didn't expect to be such a big hit over here so soon. An anonymous commenter below also informed me that Macklemore doesn't allow his songs to be on compilation albums, so I've removed 'Can't Hold Us' and bumped OneRepublic to Track 1. I'm undecided between Miley's 'Wrecking Ball' and Avicii's 'You Make Me' for its place, but it's also quite rare for NOW to have 2 tracks by the same lead artist. Let's go for it though...

Edit (27/10): I've made a couple more changes after seeing a couple of comments below. Silly me also remember that MKS only peaked at #50 so I'm now taking them off the tracklist and replacing with Birdy's 'Wings.' Sean Paul's 'Other Side Of Love' was another song I missed off my first tracklist, and I'm questioning JT'S 'Take Back The Night' so I'm pitting them against each other for CD 2's track 10. Also, after the success of 'Juliet,' there's a chance that may be included instead of Lawson's previous single 'Brokenhearted' - so they're also fighting for their place. Thanks for all of your help and comments!

  1. If most of the songs you have predicted are on Now 86 then for me I would make quite good CD. Good luck
